Sleutelring met leerkoord

1   Cut 2 x 15cm leather cord. Fit these in the keyring.

2   Plait with 4 cords – plait the leather cord as shown in picture 2, 3 and 4.

3   Plait with 4 cords.

4   Cut off the ends.

5   Glue the ends together and attach an end cap.

6   Cut a 5cm piece of leather cord. Put this piece through the eye of the end cap.

7   Glue on the bead.

11   Draw a design on a shrink plastic sheet. Please note that the motif shrinks to slightly less than half size.

12   Cut out the design.

13   Make a hole using a paper punch or use a hole punch. Paint with poster hobby marker.

14   Put it in the oven at 170 degrees for approx. 1 minute. The design will start to shrink and twist. Take it out when it is flat again – use tweezers if necessary.

15   Fit a round jump ring.

16   Attach to the keyring.
