Een hanger gemaakt van Fimo klei met een aluminium rand

1.   Roll the clay flat and in the same thickness as the width of the aluminium wire. Use a rolling pin.

2.   Print and cut out the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Cut out the shape of the clay as precisely as possible.

3.   Cut a minimum 10 cm piece of flat aluminium wire. Make a hole in the middle of the aluminium wire for hanging the pendant. Use a hammer and a thin nail for this. Using the same tools, make also an indentation of approx. 2-3 mm at the top of the shape.

4.   Harden the shape in the oven for 30 min at 110°C.

5.   Apply glue along the top edge of the shape. Push the bead cap through the hole in the flat aluminium wire and further down into the small hole in the shape. Push together and leave to dry.

6.   Bend and shape the aluminium wire around the Fimo modelling clay shape and cut off the excess wire.

7.   Carefully lift away the aluminium wire from the shape. Apply glue to the sides of the shape and attach the aluminium wire.

8.   Insert a round jump ring in the loop on the bead cap. Then attach the finished pendant in piece of jewellery chain, assembled with an oval jump ring.
