Zaag stroken hout in twee kleinere stukken en boor een gat in het midden voor een bloemstok die kan functioneren als centraal middenstuk / stam. Lijn in de standaard met houtlijm. Buig de ster van bonsaidraad en wikkel dun, verzilverd draad met druppelvormige glaskralen om de ster.
