Een windmolen gemaakt van reflecterende plastic vellen

De windmolen bestaat uit 4 zeilen gemaakt van reflecterend plastic. Om de zeilen te knippen kun je gebruik maken van het aangehechte sjabloon. De zeilen worden bijelkaar gehouden met eyelets en bloemendraad en vervolgens bevestigd op een bloemstok met canvas tape.

Hoe werkt het
1. Print the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Cut it out, and draw the parts onto a reflective plastic sheet. Cut out the parts. Make a hole in the middle of the circular piece.
2. Use revolving hole punch pliers to make a hole in the middle of the square.
3. Place the circle on top of the square and use an eyelet setter for attaching an eyelet in the middle – through the two holes.
4. Cut towards the circle from each of the four corners.
5. Make four holes with hole punch pliers – one in each left corner of each quarter.
6. Turn each quarter and assemble them in the holes with eyelets.
7. Use an eyelet setter for attaching the eyelet.
8. Attach the stub wire onto the flower stick using cloth tape. Let 10cm of the stub wire protrude.
9. Use round nose pliers for bending the protruding part of the stub wire downwards over the flower stick.
10. Thread two beads onto the stub wire and then put the windmill onto the stub wire. Finish with a bead and bend the stub wire.
11. Cut off the excess stub wire with side cutters.
