1 Cast 52 stitches onto No. 3.5 knitting needle for the dishcloth with the brioche stitch. Knit following the pattern. Here we are demonstrating the purl stitch with yarn over, followed by slipping a stitch purlwise.

2 Knit the two stitches next to each other together.

3 Knit seed stitches by knitting one stitch, purling one stitch. These stitches are repeated staggered over two rows, alternating by knitting the purl stitches and purling the knit stitches until the dishcloth is finished.

4 Knit a square pattern by knitting 3 stitches and purling 3 stitches alternately. Knit 3 rows like that and then alternate by knitting the purl stitches and purling the knit stitches for 3 rows. Repeat this pattern until you have finished the dishcloth.
